OUR ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
One Stop Agency (OSA) Mandated by Koridor Utiliti Johor
- Manages utility applications via the KUJ Portal
- Coordinates Way Leave and Permit approvals for utility works, including water, energy, telecommunications, gas, and sewerage
- Supports both planned and emergency works
- Liaises directly with Johor local authorities
Utility Supervision
- Coordinates utility planning to avoid route overlaps and repeated excavation
- Monitors approved utility works end-to-end
- Reports project status to relevant authorities
Utility Database & GIS
- Integrates utility data into the PADU utility database within a centralized GIS system
- Acts as reference centre for Johor State
- Supports long-term utility master planning and balanced infrastructure development
Common Duct & Open Access
- Appointed single provider for common duct infrastructure
- Offers equal duct access to all utility providers
- Supports common utility poles in greenfield developments
- Promotes open access and shared infrastructure across Johor
